Balloon Boy

All of you have probably heard the story of Falcon Heene, the boy in the hot air balloon. But was this about him or his dad? Some believe this four hour expensive hunt for the boy was just a publicity stunt. Facts seem to be against Richard Heene, father of Falcon. Being known as the mad scientists around town, proves deciding to make a massive helium balloon was nothing out of the ordinary for the Heene family. What is said to have happen is six year old Falcon climbed into the basket attached to the balloon and took off. The home-made balloon was not meant for humans to carried in. finally arriving to the aircraft's landing destination at 1:35 p.m. young Heene was missing and thought to have fallen out. However, this 1000 -1000000 dollar search may have gone to waste. Falcon later came out of hiding in a cardboard box in the attic. Apparently, he got to the attic by scaling the outside of the house. Even at age six, he was able to stay occupied up there for so long because he had already stashed some toys there long before the chaos. How realistic is this story? As forces dig deeper into the plot and investigate this experience more closely, people all across the United States share their opinions on this topic. Questions people seem to commonly debate are "How did the police not notice the boy in the house after a thorough search?" and "Why were the boys not in school?" (unless they are home schooled in which i am not sure.) The largest pieces of evidence are, Richard Heene has been trying to get the family on reality TV shows for a while now. They have appeared on Wife Swap and maybe others. In addition, while being interviewed after the situation, Falcon replied to the question "Why did you do it?" by staring at his father and saying "You had said we did this for the show?" Now many people don't trust what comes out of a six year old's mouth, but many observers have said young children speak the truth. There is now talk of if the parents deserve to keep custody of their three children. From the fear of a lost and perhaps dead young boy, to the 15 minutes in fame of an immature father.
